Generally, no damage occurs if applied properly and removed with care.
To have in mind:
Smooth, painted walls (especially semi-gloss or satin finishes) make removal easier.
A previous wallpaper, matte or flat paint may absorb adhesive, making removal trickier.
Textured walls can prevent full adhesion making the wallpaper easy to remove.

For the self-adhesive wallpaper we especially recommend a smooth and clean surface.
You must give freshly painted walls 4-6 weeks to cure fully.
Matte, eggshell, satin and semi-gloss finishes that give your walls a smooth surface are recommended.
Pay attention to the type of roller used for the primer coat to ensure that the surface does not become textured, which could hinder the adhesion of the wallpaper.
Ensure the color is uniform and doesn't differ significantly from your chosen wallpaper for best result.
It is possible to apply a peel & stick wallpaper over an existing wallpaper if the wall is dry, clean and smooth.
Our Peel & Stick non-woven removable wallpaper is made of PVC-free paper with our own Sandberg Mattic™ Peel & Stick matte, premium finish. The adhesive is also water-based, VOC, and solvent-free.
Our Peel & Stick wallpaper should be installed within six months. The wallpaper should be stored in normal conditions and at normal temperatures without sun exposure.
