Steps to Success with Your Peel & Stick Wallpaper
Check Your Walls
Before you begin, gently run your hand over the wall. Is it smooth? If your walls are textured, the wallpaper may not stick as well. For more details, take a look at our installation guide.
Prepare Your Wall
If your walls have been freshly painted, allow them to rest and cure for 4–6 weeks before applying wallpaper. Make sure the paint color is even and won’t show through your design. If you’re looking for a faster solution, try our paste-the-wall wallpaper instead.
Once your walls are ready, give them a gentle wipe with a damp cloth or sponge, using warm water and mild soap. Let everything dry for at least 24 hours to ensure the surface is clean and smooth.
Divide the lengths
As with any creative project, a little preparation goes a long way. Lay out your wallpaper lengths 24 hours ahead of time. Cut along the provided guide, and place them in numerical order, label side up. Allow the lengths to acclimate to the room before installation.
