Our Designers

Tell us about yourself as a designer:
I like to begin the design process with stories. A pattern often grows from a context, a place, or a person that inspires me. I usually try to create small worlds where my patterns can belong. I work by hand and am guided by my choice of materials and colors when sketching new ideas. Nothing beats putting pen or brush to paper.

What inspires you?
I find inspiration in everything from nature, plants, and their colors to travel, craftsmanship, and history.

Which is your favorite pattern among your designs?
One of my favorites is Montfort, a pattern that tells the story of a region in southern France. You can see the Pyrenees, the shepherd, and the swallows that are typical of the region. I love the historical references and its soft, detailed expression.

Tell us about yourself as a designer:
I have an artistic approach to my work and find my drive in creating different collection stories for a variety of contexts. Continuously challenging myself through different techniques and expressions, with craftsmanship at the heart and details playing an essential role, gives me constant motivation and inspiration.

What inspires you?
Details, historical patterns and ornaments, craftsmanship, art, interiors with character and contrasts, our Scandinavian nature, and travel.

Which is your favorite pattern among your designs?
It changes over time, and I often find new favorites in each new collection. Right now, I would say Alba, Light Blue is my favorite. I love trees, and I immediately fell in love with this Lebanese cedar when I discovered it on a trip to Como. Alba, Light Blue brings both character and calm to a room, while adding an elegant feel.
