How to measure

Wallpaper

For wallpaper, you order a specific number of rolls.

  1. Measure from the ceiling to the floor and across each wall. Keep your numbers accurate by using a metal tape measure rather than a soft cloth one. Add 4 inches (10 cm) to each wall. Please see the examples below for tips on measuring different types of walls.

  2. Add the widths of all walls together and enter the total width and height of the highest point in the roll calculator. The roll calculator can be found on the product page of each wallpaper.

How to measure

Custom Wall Murals

Wall murals are produced with the exact measurements that you specify.

Therefore they are custom made just for your walls. Simply measure the width and height of the entire wall and add a few cm or inches for flexibility during installation. Please see the examples below for tips on measuring different types of walls.

The panels will be delivered as rolls and are numbered in the order they should be hung. Everything to make it easy for you during installation!

Measure different types of walls

Standard walls

Measure the width and height of the complete wall. Please double-check to make sure you get it right. Add 4 inches (10 cm) to the measurements, both width, and height.

Multiple walls

Measure the width of each of your walls and combine these measurements into one when ordering. Add 4 inches (10 cm) per wall for flexibility during installation. Then measure the height. Always start from the highest point and also add 4 inches (10 cm) to that measurement. You don’t need to order the mural as separate parts, for each individual wall.

Walls with doors, windows or other obstacles

Measure the width and the height of the complete wall. All obstacles will be cut out during installation. We always produce your wallpaper in the exact measurements you specify when ordering, so we recommend you to add 4 inches (10 cm) to the measurements, both width and height.

Staircases

Measure the wall at its highest and widest point, ignoring slopes. The sloping part, any excess, is cut away during installation. We recommend you add 4 inches (10 cm) to the measurements, both width and height.

Sloped walls

Measure the wall on the highest and widest point, ignoring any slopes. The sloped part is cut away during installation. We recommend you to add 4 inches (10 cm) to the measurements, both width and height.

Multi-sloped walls

Measure the wall on the longest part in both with and height. The sloped part is cut away during installation. We recommend you to add 4 inches (10 cm) to the measurements, both width and height.
