Cozy and harmonic living at @lovisaslind
The lovely home of Evelina Lind truly represents the idea of a cozy and snug place to live in. With pleasant colors in warm shades and lovely greenery in every corner, Evelina tells us the story of how Sandberg Wallpaper became a part of her “forever home”.
When Evelina moved to a turn-of-the-century-inspired farm just outside Alingsås in Sweden with her family and their alpacas, the journey towards creating her dream home began. She describes her style as free and unlimited with sustainability as an important aspect. Evelina tells us about the importance of choosing a wallpaper that can be loved for a long time and at the same time complement the rest of the home.
“I want it to be sustainable and a wallpaper that stays on the walls for many years. I believe it’s a good idea to think it through and pick a wallpaper that you won’t get tired of.”
Choosing the right wallpaper for your home is something that many people struggle with. Evelina describes it as a bit of an acquired skill and tells us that Sandberg’s different wallpapers helped her find the right way.
“Linnea was a given choice for our living room. It’s the most beautiful wallpaper I’ve ever known, so soft and overall lovely.”
Linnea’s peaceful greenery sets a lovely touch to the family’s living room.
Moving onto the beautiful dining room where Idun takes place. The unique tiled stove sets the tone here and Idun beautifully completes the room with its harmonic colors. Even further into Evelina’s home, we find Karolina and Olof in one room each as well. Karolina is dressing the kitchen with its gorgeous greenery meanwhile Olof enhances the cozy and snug feeling in the family’s bedroom with its blooming terracotta pattern.

Tell us about yourself, who is Evelina?
My name is Evelina, 30 years old, mother of two beautiful boys, and married to the most amazing man. We recently sold our newly-built house and moved to a turn-of-the-century-inspired farm just outside Alingsås in Sweden where we are renovating and living our dream life.
Describe your interior design style
I find this question really hard. I use my gut feeling a lot and have a hard time putting my style into some sort of category. I love to combine the old with the new. It has to be cozy, harmonic, and easy to clean.

What is most important to you when choosing a wallpaper?
That it will feel good for a long time. I want it to be sustainable and a wallpaper that stays on the walls for many years. Don’t get me wrong, you can always make the wrong choice. I’ve made that mistake in a room here, it’s a beautiful wallpaper but it’s too much for me and it’s only stressing me out.
Why did you choose Karolina, Idun, Olof, and Linnea to dress your walls?
The wallpaper in our dining room, Idun, really got along with our pretty unique tiled stove and at the same time spreads a living, warm feeling in the room. Linnea was a given choice for our living room, it’s the most beautiful wallpaper I’ve ever known. It’s so soft and lovely overall. We wanted something more “modern” in our kitchen which led us to Karolina, and Olof found its rightful place in our bedroom thanks to the darker and warmer colors.
