2 Prepare your wall

Ensure the wall surface is clean, smooth, and free of dust.
Use a damp cloth or sponge to clean the surface with warm water and mild soap.
Let the walls dry for at least 24 hours.

Peel & Stick is not recommended for ceilings or rough structured walls.
Remove anything protruding and use joint compound to fill in any holes, cracks or uneven surfaces.

Install your Peel & Stick Wallpaper Follow our guide step-by-step to succeed with your wallpapering

1. Inspect the wall mural

Make sure you have all the strips and that none of them are defective or damaged. Please note that your wall mural is custom sized, which may cause the ending strip to be not fully printed! If you notice wrinkles on the wallpaper, gently pull the backing away from the wallpaper and see if the wrinkles smooth out. Wrinkles are usually not permanent and will be smoothed out when the wallpaper is placed on the wall.

2. Prepare the wallpaper

Start by dividing the lenghts as indicated by the cutting symbols. Lay the lenghts, with the label facing upwards, in numerical order starting with length number 1. The lenghts are numbered in hanging order from left to right.

Allow the wallpaper to rest for a few minutes to smooth out from rolling. Inspect the wall one last time to make sure the wall is ready for wallpapering.

3. Measure and mark

Our wall murals are always hung from the left to the right, start with the left corner of your wall.

Make a pencil mark one wallpaper width from the left near the ceiling.

Use the laser level or hold a plumb line on the mark and draw a vertical line down the wall.

It is essential that the first length is vertically straight. Measure the wall and mural carefully.

4. Hang your Peel & Stick

The strips are numbered in hanging order from left to right and should be hung edge to edge without any overlapping.

The first strip: Starting from the top and working your way down, carefully position the mural strips according to your line. Use a smoothing tool to gently press the mural onto the wall, eliminating air bubbles and creases.
The second strip: Measure for next strip. Move the laser level or make a new mark with the plumb line and pencil. Calculate any pattern fit and then attach the wallpaper at the top edge to the ceiling. Peel off the backing one section at a time, being careful to place the wallpaper edge to edge with the previous length of wallpaper. Continue to work your way down by peeling back and smoothing the wallpaper with the wallpaper tool.

Always smooth each length with a clean wallpapering tool or wallpaper brush. Work from the ceiling to the floor and from the middle out to the edges.

Use a sharp utility knife to trim any excess wallpaper at the top, bottom, and corners.

Repeat this stage until the strips are all hung.

5. Inspect the result

Once Peel & Stick Wallpaper is installed, it is ready for decoration. The wallpaper does not need time to settle or acclimatize.

Always keep the room free from any humidity and at normal room temperature.
