Custom Wall Murals
- Measure the width and height of the complete wall.
- If any section of the wall has different heights, measure the highest point to cover the whole wall.
- The wallpaper is printed in the exact measurements, so always add a minimum 5 cm (2 inches) to the width and height measurements to be on the safe side if the wall is uneven.
Yes, you can order samples of most of our designs. Select a mural or wallpaper in our assortment and press the button “Order sample” on its product page. Mural samples are A3 size and wallpaper samples are A4.
You can include a technical Peel & Stick Sample to test the material's compatibility with your surface. This option is available during checkout, note it is only offered for on-demand printed wallpapers.
Wallpaper samples are A4 size, 210 x 297 mm, or 8.27 x 11.69 inches. Wall mural samples are A3 size, 297 x 420mm, or 11.7 x 16.5 inches. Our mural samples are A3-sized (tabloid/ledger) with a downscaled version of the full design and will give you a good feel for the colors and material.
When you have found a wallpaper design you like, press the heart icon to save it for later. You will find all your favorites under the heart symbol in the top right corner.
Our wallpapers may be available at a reseller in your area.

We can make wall murals in any dimensions, but the minimum price is calculated on 3 m² (32 sq ft), even if you buy less.
The width of each wallpaper depends on the product type.
Traditional Wallpaper
Sandberg's traditional wallpaper rolls are 53 cm in width and 10,05 m long, also known as double rolls.
Custom Wall Murals
Custom size wall murals are printed on 50 cm wide lengths. All lengths are numbered, which makes it easy for you to know where to start and which lengths to sit next to each other.

All our wallpapers and murals are printed on non-woven paper of the highest quality. The paper is reinforced with nylon fibers making the wallpaper stable, meaning that the adhesive can be applied directly to the wall; which makes installation much easier.
One can say that our wallpapers and murals are just as durable as wallpaper in general. Putting them in an environment where the wallpaper is exposed to water splashing is definitely not recommended. To make the wallpaper more resistant in a slightly humid environment, you can add a protective layer of water-based varnish, but we cannot guarantee that it gives full protection. It is important that the wallpaper has dried completely before you apply the varnish, we recommend 1-2 days to be on the safe side. Glass is also a great way to protect your wallpaper in smaller areas such as a kitchen counter.
All our wallpapers and murals are washable. This means that you can wipe them down gently with a damp cloth. Make sure you wring the cloth of excess water. Wiping down your wallpaper is essential when wallpapering to remove residue glue. Don’t scrub the paper as this will rub off the color.
By using only environmentally friendly methods and materials, including a water-based ink system, we create wallpaper free from plasticizers and fluorocarbons, PVC* and other chlorinated plastics. And of course, we recycle all waste materials.
Our wall murals are printed on a non-woven paper reinforced with nylon fibers that create no VOC (Volatile organic compound) at room temperature. We print with all-natural non-toxic color compounds that produce no VOC and our paste is made from modified potato starch that is also non-toxic.
*A discreet PVC top layer for added protection in Commercial Grade material
Good lightfastness means that your wallpaper won’t be easily sun-bleached. All wallpaper will fade over time but our production technology is designed to provide optimum resistance to fading.
No, we don't print on vinyl. All our wallpapers and murals are printed on non-woven paper of the highest quality. The paper is reinforced with nylon fibers making the wallpaper more stable, meaning that the adhesive can be applied directly to the wall; which makes installation much easier.
All wallpapers are FSC certified and fire rated by the EU official standard EN 13501 and have a minimum classification of B-s1,d0.

Delivery
Yes, we ship worldwide, to change language or country simply change delivery country in the top right corner or make a purchase from our international websites.
Shipping is always free but depending on your country, local customs and duties may apply which you need to pay to UPS upon or before delivery.
In addition to our high-quality wallpapers, we offer the option to purchase wallpaper paste separately in the checkout.

As long as your item is in stock we usually send your order within 24 hours of purchase.

When you have placed your mural order online, we usually manufacture it the very next workday. It is sent immediately, free of charge, by our partner UPS and the delivery time is:

Yes, when your order has been dispatched you will receive an email from UPS with the tracking details, please check your spam folder if you haven't received it. If it's not in your spam folder you're welcome to contact us and we'll be happy to help you.
Please note: Sample orders within Europe do not generate a tracking ID as they are sent by post.
Of course, we will send the wallpaper to the address specified by you upon completing the order.
Yes, the sooner you contact us regarding a change of delivery address, the sooner we can help. Simply reply to the order confirmation or contact us via the contact form and include your order number.
No, our shipping provider UPS will only accept shipments to a valid street address.
How to Prepare & Install

We offer a high-quality adhesive that you can easily add to your cart before checkout. The adhesive is made for non-woven wallpapers and suitable for all our wallpapers. Follow the instructions and mix with water. One package covers 4 rolls (20 m²/215 sq ft).
The non-woven adhesive should be pasted straight on to the wall. Never paste the paper as this could cause the wallpaper to swell which in turn will make it difficult to match your pattern. For best results, use the adhesive at room temperature.
With the Sandberg Wallpapering Tools, you have everything you need to make your wallpapering a success. The package can be added to your cart before checkout and contains the following tools:
Roller: To easily roll the adhesive onto the wall.
Wallpaper knife: To cut the wallpaper.
Brush: To apply the adhesive to the wall along skirting boards and ceilings.
Wallpaper sponge: To wash and smooth the wallpaper.
Plumb bob: A weighted string to make sure the wallpaper is straight.
Wallpapering tool: To press and smooth the wallpaper onto the wall.

No, our wall murals and wallpapers are made for indoor interiors only.
Our wallpapers and murals work great in washrooms with a toilet and sink as they have low humidity. High humidity rooms with a shower or a bathtub are not recommended as the high moisture in the air might damage our wallpapers.
To install your new wallpaper, the surface of the wall/ceiling must be smooth, clean, dry and sound. Read more about preparations in our wallpapering guide.
Flaking paint and loose wallpaper should be removed and any uneven surfaces must be filled.

Returns & Reclamations
Returns on a complete order of wallpapers and wall murals are accepted within 30 days of receiving your parcel. If you receive a defective or incorrect product, please contact us immediately, and we will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at [email protected], and they will provide you with instructions on how to proceed.
Sandberg Wallpaper will cover the cost of the return shipping. If you choose to arrange your own return shipping, please note that Sandberg Wallpaper will not reimburse any shipping costs or be responsible for any damages or loss that may occur during the transit.
Please note that we are unable to accept returns of wallpaper samples, part orders of wallpaper rolls or wall murals, and wallpaper that has been made especially for you such as tailormade wall murals.
Printing wallpaper is an advanced process and on rare occasions, mistakes can be made. Always check the wallpaper before hanging it to ensure there are no production defects. If you find any flaws, please contact us before you start installing the wallpaper, and we will replace it with a new one, free of charge.
In all events, the limit of liability for any fault or defect in the product shall be to a sum not exceeding the purchase price of the particular goods, and the seller shall not be held liable for any incidental or consequential loss howsoever arising. It is important that the provided instructions are followed to ensure the best results are achieved. We also recommend you use the Gimmersta Wallpaper adhesive or an adhesive that is designed specifically for non-woven wallpapers.
