Description
In the late 19th century, the Baroque also makes a grandiose return to Sweden, however in an updated version. The powerful wallpaper patterns often expanded in all directions. High and low, and preferably as wide as possible in dark, heavy colors. In our wallpaper Rosenholm, big pompous peonies throw themselves across the surface. The pattern assumes an imposing attitude, and elements of Gothic, Renaissance and Rococo intermingles in this neo-Baroque expression. The result is a wallpaper that steps forward and dominates the entire room. Design: Late 19th century original.
