Skog

Skog means forest in Swedish and is a collection of wallpaper that is inspired by man´s ever greater yearning for nature. The wallpapers in Skog has a contemporary design created for modern living with open floor plans. We looked for materials that were unique and that get that certain payina as they age. When deisgning Skog we had a desire to leave the city behind. We wanted to go to places where we could exhale and take a break from the urban online existence. The result is here. A peaceful collection with calm, harmonius patterns that open up the room and meet and greet the splendor of nature. On our walk through green moss we found bird eggshells, stones, rusty old objects and a torn piece of linen cloth. Aged fragments that were left behind, beautiful in their delicate decay. Once back in the studio we sat with paper and aquarelles to create this collection of wallpapers. The treassures we collected served as inspiration for these wallpapers.
