Product Information

All our wallpapers are washable. This means that you can wipe them down gently with a damp cloth. Make sure you wring the cloth of excess water. Wiping down your wallpaper is essential when wallpapering to remove residue glue. Don’t scrub the paper as this will rub off the colour.

All our wallpapers are printed on a non-woven paper of the highest quality. The paper is reinforced with nylon fibres making the wallpaper stable, meaning that the adhesive can be applied directly to the wall; which makes installation much easier.

Good lightfastness means that your wallpaper won’t be easily sun-bleached. All wallpaper will fade over time but our production technology is designed to provide optimum resistance to fading.

By using only environmentally friendly methods and materials, including a water-based ink system, we create wallpaper free from plasticizers and fluorocarbons, PVC and other chlorinated plastics. And of course, we recycle all waste materials.

Our wall murals are printed on a non-woven paper reinforced with nylon fibers that create no VOC (Volatile organic compound) in room temperature. We print with all natural non-toxic color compounds that produce no VOC and our paste is made from modified potato starch that is also non-toxic.

All our wallpapers are paste-the-wall, also known as non-woven. This means that you should paste your adhesive on to the wall when hanging your wallpaper.

All our wallpapers are FSC certified and fire rated by the EU official standard EN 13501 and have a minimum classification of B-s1,d0.

How to Measure & Order

Yes, you can order samples of most of our products. Select a wallpaper in our assortment and press the button “Order sample” on its product page.

Wallpaper samples are A4 size, 210 x 297 mm, or 8.27 x 11.69 inches.

Wall mural samples are A3 size, 297 x 420mm, or 11.7 x 16.5 inch.

The number of rolls you will need can vary depending on the width and height of the walls, the pattern repeat and whether you’re wallpapering around windows and doors. We provide a wallpaper roll calculator that you can use to get a good idea of how many rolls you will need. The wallpaper calculator is available on the product page for each product.

Unfortunately, we can’t offer a colour ID for any of our wallpapers. We don’t make use of NCS colours when designing and producing the wallpaper and providing a colour ID simply wouldn’t be good practice by us for a number of reasons. We also don’t have any information on the colour IDs of the paint that is featured in our interior photos.

We recommend that you order a sample and bring it to your local paint shop and let them find a colour that matches your wallpaper.

Our wallpapers work great in washrooms with a toilet and sink as they have low humidity. High humidity rooms with a shower or a bathtub are not recommended as the high moisture in the air might damage the wallpaper.

We recommend that you choose a ready-mixed adhesive. Make sure the adhesive is suitable for non-woven wallpaper such as Bostik Hernia NW or similar. Look for the symbol for paste the wall or the three triangles. This indicates that the adhesive is suitable for non-woven wallpapers.

The non-woven adhesive should be pasted straight on to the wall. Never paste the paper as this could cause the wallpaper to swell which in turn will make it difficult to match your pattern. For best results, use the adhesive at room temperature.

Yes, the sooner you contact us regarding a change of delivery address, the sooner we can help. Simply reply to the order confirmation or contact us via the contact form and include your order number.

Yes, when your order has been dispatched you will receive an email from UPS with the tracking details, please check your spam folder if you haven’t received it. If it’s not in your spam folder you’re welcome to contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.

Please note: Sample orders within Europe do not generate a tracking ID as they are sent by post.

Of course, we will send the wallpaper to the address specified by you upon completing the order.

As long as your item is in stock we will usually send your order within 24 hours of purchase. We expect a delivery time of 2-4 working days within Europe, 5-10 days to the rest of the world. We will send your item with UPS who will email you a tracking code and instructions of how to track your order.

UPS might be in partnership with another courier in your country and as a result hand over your shipment to that courier for final delivery.

Shipping is always free but depending on your country, local customs and duties may apply.

No, our shipping provider UPS will only accept shipments to a valid street address.

When shopping directly from sandbergwallpaper.com you can return your items within 14 days from the day that you receive your order.

  • We do not accept returns of wallpaper samples or custom-sized wallpapers.
  • You will have to return your complete order, you can not return part of an order.
  • If you have purchased wallpaper from one our resellers you need to request your return through them.
  • To be able to return an item you need to send it in its original condition and packaging.
  • We do not cover the shipment cost of items that you no longer want unless we have sent you the incorrect items or your order arrive damaged.
Please note that if you return your order without first contacting us, the handling time will be longer.

Contact us to request a return. If your return is approved, we will send you a return ID with instructions of where and how to ship your return.
