Mix & Match

Inspired by the floral designs of French fabrics known as Les Indiennes. These exotic florals date back to the mid-seventeenth century when merchants living in Marseille imported them from India for the manufacture of clothing. They later became popular motifs for Domino papers, the precursors to wallpaper that were used to line travelling cases, furniture, hat boxes and books. This Adelaide wallpaper has the colorway blush.

Swedish Wallpaper Art

Our wallpapers are designed to make your everyday life and home even more beautiful. Our passion lies in the love of details – details that are made possible due to each piece initially being drawn entirely by hand.

We go through numerous sketches and ideas for every design you see until we have reached perfection and that unique Sandberg expression and sustainable color palette.

Sustainable Scandinavian Design

Our designs carry names because they all have interesting stories to convey about people and places that inspired us when creating them. The inspiration for both colour and design often comes from the Swedish landscape and the nature surrounding us.

Our patterns also pay homage to our historical and cultural heritage. We often find ourselves standing in the old archive with designs from the past, finding inspiration in the present to create new and timeless expressions that will last for generations.

Purveyor to the Royal Court of Sweden

Our passion for our work is something that was noticed when we were appointed Royal Court Supplier, a title that stands for Swedish quality and Scandinavian design of the highest class and has been awarded an AAA rating.

Sandberg Wallpaper was founded by the Sandberg family and is now part of Gimmersta Group which has specialized in wallpapers since the 1920s. Our offices are situated in Borås, Sweden from where we operate worldwide.

The love of craftsmanship is evident in every line and brushstroke we make to create beautiful and sustainable designs.

Our mission is to create timeless and classic wallpaper of premium quality with a unique expression that lasts over time.
